Off to Breda
I am physically not off to Breda (I wish!), but this letter I wrote is going there. I just took an evening walk to the post box and dropped this off.
Sometimes when friends are so far away, a phone call or an email just isn't enough. I am hoping I will have more time to write to friends, near and far this coming winter.
Things have been a little quiet on this blog lately, but I promise you, things are bubbling under the surface. I just can't show them to you yet!
that's some happy mail :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, getting a letter makes my day,
ReplyDeletegetting an email usually doesn't :)
Pretty letter!
ReplyDeletei always wish i had more time to write letters to everyone i know, far and near. letters are just so wonderful.
ReplyDeletehow beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBreda is pretty close for me. I could be off to Breda for real :) Would be nice if you could too. I'm sure your friend will be happy with this letter! hope it arrives soon!
ReplyDeleteNothing beats a hand written letter. Personal and so sweet.
ReplyDeleteCute envelope/card combo! I love writing letters too, though it happens rarely.
ReplyDeleteOh i love to send letters "in paper"! In fact i do it quite often, as i can't find the time to speak over the phone to some far away friends and family... I know it sounds strange as most people find it easier to pick up the phone, but i find i can "steal" a few minutes to write down or draw a few love words, stick up a stamp and throw the love-filled paper in a yellow mailbox (they're yellow in France). I feel as if i were passing by on a boat and waving sending kisses, just to say "i think of you, get back in touch later*"...
ReplyDeleteawesome ideas! love your photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. (If you one day are comming to Breda for real, please tell me. Because I live just an hour from that place :-) )
