A few months ago, we traveled to India for two weeks and I mentioned how foreign, unfamiliar, and uncomfortable I felt at times, but once we arrived as guests at the wedding, all those feelings disappeared. They say "Guest is God" and that is especially the case in Punjab. We felt like we were part of the family.
For those of you who know me in real life, you may have heard me speak fondly of my dear friend Nav, and the ones dear to her call her Rimi. She is one of my dearest friends and I remember the day she told me about Jean, we were so young then and I could not have imagined these two would lead so us on an adventure in India!
Their wedding was like a week long festival filled with colourful ceremonies and celebrations. There was so much beauty, it was hard to narrow down so many days into one post. These are just snippets of the festivities but hopefully you get an idea of the magic we all felt.
Rimi and Jean, congratulations. We love you so much.
