Summer Wild Flowers - floral accessories

Sometimes, during the busiest time of year, you need to get together with other creative folks to create something that truly inspires you.

Jessica and Aviva of Sweet Gale Gardens and Herb n' Meadow wanted to play with some floral accessory designs in colours and forms they don't often get to work with. All of these beautiful flowers are lovingly grown from Jessica and Aviva's flower farm in Toronto.

Rounding out our collaboration are the incredibly talented ladies Gina of Gina Pulai Makeup Artistry and Melody Bostelaar at Lebel and Crowe. They made Caitlin, Hannah, Andrew and Graham even more magical in front of the camera!

Everything came together perfectly. The girls, the boys, the flowers and the summer evening light. It was a lovely little reset for all of us among the wonderful chaos that happens every summer. I hope you like the magic we created.

Eloise is 3 going on 13. Lately she has been sleeping in because it is hard to convince her to go to bed on time with the sun staying up so late. If it is bright outside, why should she sleep too? I can't wait until this 3 year old understands the concept of time.

She will always wake up with a smile if her baby sister is the first thing she sees. So if we have to wake her up to get her ready for school, we just lay Eden down beside Eloise and she will start the day off happy.

They are interacting with each other more and more each day. I love watching how protective Eloise is with Eden, and how much Eden adores Eloise.

Watching them grow is probably my favourite thing in the world. Just please, don't grow up too fast.
