Being on the road seems like a big part of life in India and if I had to drive on those roads, I would not survive! Lines on the road are barely suggestions to drivers and driving into oncoming traffic to pass others is quite normal. After awhile, I just learned to look out the window and not straight ahead. Besides, there was lots to see.
Tuk-tuk's, entire families on scooters, cows. And everyone is encouraged to honk.
that pattern on the side of the cart (2nd from the bottom) is really intriguing me...funny that of all the things i notice, that's the one that sticks! i'm sure all the textiles there were to die for, too...
and can we just talk safety? holyCOW would i ever have a million heart attacks a day there! i'm already afraid to drive here (still don't have my license), so i can only imagine how you must have felt with eloise in your arms...i'm glad you all got home unscathed!
Not enough baby photos!
