The Goodfellows

Sometimes I wish my eyes were a camera so that when I blinked, I could snap a photo every time I wanted to remember that exact precious moment. Having a young family is such a treasure because everything changes so fast. The dynamic of your family will never be the same month after month.

I spent a morning with the Goodfellows, Lou will be turning 1 in a month and it will be a year that they are a family of 4! What a year it must have been! And you can tell Bea loves her little brother a lot. I always think of how lucky younger siblings are, the moment they enter this world, they already have a best friend to look up to.

Danielle Wright lookbook

It was so much fun working with Danielle on her lookbook for her beautiful line of jewelry. Danielle is so full of talent! For those of you who do not know, she is the Wright half of Falconwright, a line of handmade screen printed leather goods. She also creates these beautiful pieces out of brass that I have admired for so long and was so excited when asked to photograph them! I have the Speckled U Necklace, I love it and wear it all the time! I am also eyeing one of her prism necklaces to wear all summer long.

Big city girl

Some images from our time in New York last week. We spent all our time having picnics in New York's amazing parks, eating good food and wandering the streets. We also met up with some friends because they happen to be in New York the same time we were! It is always lovely to see familiar faces in another city!

While in New York, Ellie became a lot more active. She suddenly became obsessed with pushing the stroller instead of sitting in it! Exploring the apartment we stayed in, walking around the parks (with assistance), meeting new people and going on adventures really tuckered her out by the end of each day.

The main reason we went to New York was for Jin to ride in the 5 boro bike tour with some friends. Naturally, Ellie and I tagged along for the trip! When Ellie gets a little older, I hope to bring her along one year and join Jin on the bike tour, it seemed like a lot of fun!
