It is time to leave Korea and I wanted to leave you with colourful bits I noticed around the city. It was interesting to experience the differences between Hong Kong and Korea and I felt it through the people in the city and through our families most of all. I think I have a little better understanding of where Jin came from but he often tells me that the Seoul he grew up in is very different than the fast paced city it is today.

10 days barely scratched the surface of things to discover in Korea. Luckily, I am fairly confident I will come back here soon. I feel like a trip to Hong Kong will always be paired with Seoul in our future!

  2. The fish! I can't figure them out. Are they sold that way? Decoration? Mob warning? :)

  6. The fish photo is wonderfully composed (and I'm a vegetarian, so I usually turn my head away when I see fish!). I've wanted to go to South Korea for years and this is really making me want to pack up my stuff and just go!

  7. Seoul is a wonderful place for getaways. My Korean teacher always tells us how it's very different from a few decades ago too. I believe it has changed for the good.

  16. You have a great eye for finding the beauty in everyday snippets of life. I've only now stumbled across your blog, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of what you capture with your lens. The last photo in this series is my favorite. The colors and symmetry, and the movement especially really make it for me.
