starting a new quilt

It has been so nice around here lately because I actually had time to start on a baby quilt.

The last time I finished a quilt was almost 2 years ago!

It took me quite some time but I finished cutting all the pieces for my new quilt and I am excited to start sewing it together. I really enjoy every stage of quilting. It is slow, but quite relaxing.

    1. noo! I did not dye them! Dyeing fabric is something I have yet to try! I got these at The Workroom, they always have an amazing selection of solids!

  5. Ooooo motivation to get my square on. I'm going to get quilt fabric too, even though I often feel too busy. But I think we can do it! Looking forward to our crafting date!

  8. Hi Celine, I just found your blog and love the clear, fresh style of it! And I am very curious to see what lay out you choose for these pretty squares...

    Have a wonderful weekend,

  9. I've been thinking about a quilt for my baby, and had the same idea, tiny squares, ombre look. I think I'll design it and assign my mom to make it, even though I do love making quilts. Can't wait to see it done!
