the perfect 10

Yesterday was October 10th, 2010, a perfect date of 10/10/10. It was a very auspicious day to get married on, as the numbers 101010 translates to something close to "perfect in every respect" in chinese.

Gabe, May and I were part of the spectacle! We were able to go for brunch together before photographing the wedding (which we rarely get to do!), and we found 10's all around us (and Gabe excitedly tweeted about)!

It was a sign of good things to come, and it turned out to be a perfect wedding day.

Congratulations to everyone who got married on 10/10/10!

favourite spots

They have their favourite spots around the house, and they rotate between them.

Lately, they like to hang out all day on our bed, or around it.

I like our yellow sheets. They make the room feel really sunny. That is important for this time of year as our time with the sun decreases.

Thank you for all your really sweet comments and e-mails on Melinda + Chris's engagement session! I had a really amazing week because of it!

sour face

If we go back to the Photobooth photos from the Yard Sale Trunk Show, you may have noticed that a lot of people were making one particular face.

We brought these candies called “Super Lemon” that are pretty sour at first (although some will deny it, *ahem* Jin!), then it mellows out to be pretty tasty. I had a lot of fun photographing people’s reaction to this candy!

I wish I could to meet all of you and photograph each of you myself. Since that is not possible at this moment, this game I just made up is the next best thing. I thought it would be fun if you did your own sour face. I can send you some Super Lemons, and in return, you send me a photo of your sour face reaction!
