Toronto Kinfolk Retreat

I had the best time this past weekend at the Toronto Kinfolk retreat, part of the magazine's dinner series that take place in a few spots across North America. Jin, Eloise and I feel so lucky to be part of it.

Graciously hosted at Juli and John's beautiful lakeside cottage, we spent the entire day swimming in the lake, preparing and eating good food and enjoying eachothers company. It was the perfect summer day spending time with old friends and meeting new ones as well.

A huge thank you to Julie for organizing this, as well as Nikole. In my humble opinion, it was a huge success.

3 months

In the blink of an eye, 3 months has already passed. Everyone told us 3 months would be a huge milestone and here we are!

We did it! (yay!)

I have never laughed so deeply from my belly and cried so earnestly in these 3 short months. I wake up every morning rubbing my eyes because I cannot believe the changes I see in her everyday. Each day is new, but the same, and always full of wonder.

Russell spotted Eloise napping in her car seat and he went for a little peak. He thought he was being sneaky but I saw what he was doing. I'm watching you Russell!
