Courtney & Demitri and the magic that is autumn

Although Courtney and Demitri's wedding is next spring, they told me their favourite season is autumn when we first met. We kept a close eye on the leaves this year to make sure we caught the autumn colours for their engagement session.

Cozy sweaters and flannel shirts, walks to take in this crisp clean autumn air, these two make this season even more magical.

Thank you so much for all of your sweet messages and comments on my previous post of our happy announcement! Our life seems so hectic right now, with Jin and I trying to balance work and family, sometimes I forget that I am pregnant (until I go to tie my shoes and realize something is in my way...). Your genuine happiness reminded us to stop for a moment and be excited for our growing family!

Any time I have a weekend off, we try to do something fun with family and friends. These photos were taken last Sunday when we attempted to participate in the Homegrown Park Crawl with Gabe, but we ended up having an adventure of our own instead, rolling down hills, throwing fall leaves, danced in the trails and seeing other worldly creatures!

I hope you had an adventurous weekend! Or at least, one surrounded by loved ones filled with a lot of delicious food (Happy belated Thanksgiving!)!

Eloise's announcement

Eloise is excited to tell you something!

She is going to be a big sister!

In her exact words, she says "I am a big sister! Not yet!"

Many of you may have already suspected if you noticed my little bump here. I'm already about 25 weeks along and we are due in mid January! We didn't mean to announce it so far along, I have been meaning to do it for weeks but life is exponentially more hectic with a toddler around! I had so much leisure time while pregnant with Eloise!

Eloise is very excited to be a big sister, she talks to the bump and kisses it everyday. She also instructs the baby to come out, but I tell her that mommy and the baby have to grow much bigger before she does!

And yes, the baby is a "she"! We are so blessed to welcome another baby girl into our lives!

Kiyomi & Paul's beautiful barn wedding (Slit Barn, Cambridge)

As I sit here wearing a sweater and the golden fall light streaming inside, I am recalling the gorgeous summer day that was Kiyomi & Paul's wedding. I feel like their celebration happened yesterday, but it was actually a whole other season ago! This year is zooming by so fast, it is scary. Kiyomi & Paul impressively put their wedding together equally as quick, engaged and wed within the span of a few months. But if anyone could pull it off, it is definitely these two, with the help of their loving and talented family and friends.

Through our meetings and correspondences and spending time with Kiyomi & Paul during their engagement session, I saw glimpses of how well these two really compliment each other. They are the kind of pair that you can't help but be happy for their love, even though you have just met them. Thank you for inviting us to be part of such an important part of your lives.
