dim sum club
I am part of a group of friends who are willing to venture north, past the city boundaries in search for delicious dim sum very early on Sunday mornings. This group is made up of people I met through photographing weddings! I feel so lucky that some couples I work with and their wedding guests become life long friends! This is why I love what I do! Plus, finding fun people to eat with seems like a side goal in my life.
This past Sunday we had our second "meeting". The result was delicious!
(Dawn Instagrammed an adorable photo of Eloise from across the table! The youngest member of the club.)

A whole new world
She has figured it out.
Crawling that is, in her own funny way. She does it a little differently than you might expect, she uses her left foot and her right knee and moves forward with a little bit of a bad ass limp.
All of a sudden there is so much more to explore, and so much more to get into! How exciting!!

11 months
I have been so occupied these past few weeks, I nearly forgot that this winter was coming to an end. Ellie turns 11 months old today and it took me a second to remember that she was born on a beautiful spring day. This past weekend was sunny and warm, spring is coming and my little baby will officially be a toddler in a month. But in my eyes, she will always be my baby.
Ellie is still trying to figure out how to crawl but her newest obsession is pulling herself up to stand. She has the proudest little face when she walks with Jinny and she is always trying to escape from her bath with a smile. Her other new thing is keeping food in her mouth for hours making her cheeks adorably round (she is keeping her dinner in her mouth in the last two photos). Because of this little one, our home is always filled with singing and laughter and the occasional cries from accidental head bumps.
Happy 11 months little Eloise!

Philam & Andrew are married
Philam and Andrew are one of the warmest couples I have ever met and I could see why when I met their family and friends on the day of their wedding. I always look forward to meeting my couples family and close friends, I get to see a fuller picture of who they are and the people Philam and Andrew are surrounded by are warm and gracious, just like them.
Philam and Andrew married on a beautiful day last November at the Steam Whistle Brewery. They kept everyone on their toes during the reception by having a friendly ring toss competition to make the couple kiss. It is said that ring toss is what settles matters that cannot be agreed upon in Philam and Andrew's home but at their wedding, whoever scored over a certain amount of points, the newly weds would have to kiss. Their guests were eager to make them kiss, and to show off their ring tossing skills!
At the end of this amazing wedding, Jin called me and to let me know that he happened to be nearby and him and Ellie did a little wedding crashing (in her pajamas). This won't be the first wedding this duo crashes, I am sure.
