Nadia & Roberto's beautiful wedding at The Burroughes Building (Toronto)

When I picture Nadia, the first thought that comes to mind is her wonderful smile and her laugh has such a force that she can't help but throw her head back every time she laughs. I can't help but smile, her happiness is contagious.

I met Nadia the first time Jin introduced me to his friends when we started dating many many years ago. She has always been so warm and welcoming to me, I was so happy Jin's friends were so amazing. I was so happy when we reconnected after all these years over the news of her upcoming wedding.

I liked Roberto the instant I met him, I could feel he was the same sort of welcoming soul as Nadia, but more importantly, I could see that he adores Nadia so much. Their wedding at the Burroughes Building included some of their favourite pastimes together. Sharing lots of amazing food and wine with their closest family and friends, and an amazing party to follow with some of the best DJ's in the city (and one I know who flew in from London!).

Nadia and Roberto, may you have a lifetime of laughter together. Congratulations you two! I am so happy for you both! xoxo

Marianna & Michael: Engaged

I've known Michael (some of us call him Panacci) since our first day of university where I found out he was the only person in my program that lived on my floor. That first year, we would wake each other up to make it to our morning classes, otherwise, I would have just stayed in bed. I met Marianna a few years later as we were working in the same internship and I thought she was the sweetest girl I had ever met. These two got together after I left school and I couldn't think of a better fit for both of them. Together, they are a perfect pair. Last year, Panacci proposed to Marianna and they asked if I could photograph their wedding, I was overjoyed!

Marianna + Panacci = Mariachi forever. I can't wait for their wedding next month!

new work - Smith Journal: Volume 8

I am excited to show you some new work I did for Smith Journal. I photographed Scott and Ashley of Drip Maple Syrup for a piece they are part of in the latest issue - Volume 8. I loved working on this with Scott, Ashley and Smith Journal, and a huge thanks to Melissa for assisting me on this shoot.

Volume 8 was just released today! I can't wait to get mine in the mail!

(Also, if you are a lover of maple syrup, you should try some Drip maple syrup, it's incredible!)
